First, good news on "The Sagittary!"  The cost of the book is coming down again, making it a little more affordable.  While the book is 740pp long, the original price set by the publisher was a little outrageous, in my book anyway.  So if you've been holding off because of the cost, please take another look.  The new pricing is going to be $21.00.  You can also pick it up via Kindle for $7.00.

Great News!

My publisher, BookSurge, has merged with Create/Space publishing.  The result?  They have lowered the price on THE SAGITTARY!!  For those of you who know me or are members at The Keep, you KNOW the pricing of this book has been a bone of contention for me.  So, while the pricing isn't where I want it to be, it IS lower.  So please be sure to check it out at Amazon.com, if you've been wavering about buying it.

OK.

So we've had a bit of a change in plans with regards to the order the books are going to be released.

Silly me thought "Daughter of the Aire" was the next to be released, mostly because it was a completed manuscript and it would make sense that since it was done, it would be released next.

Well, not so much.  Apparently the Muse and the writing gods had other things in mind.  I mean, what the heck do I know?  I'm only the author.

"The Awakening," which I am still in the process of finishing, will be the next one to be released.  You see, Venom is a very, how shall we say, determined character.  He did not want to come after "Fly Boy," as he so charmingly put it.  And sure enough, some how, he's been able to manage it.

"Daughter," while having a solid story, needs editing surgery.  My editor wanted to know what the hell was going on in my life when I wrote this as I somehow 'lost' my story-telling 'voice.'  *cue dramatic music*  Well.....honestly, I have no clue.

Armed with this knowledge, Venom jumped right in and demanded that I finish his story and put him out first.  Ever the opportunist is that sneaky male. 

But quite honestly, he's right.  His story is flowing so easy from my mind to laptop, just like Darien did.  And with two thumbs up from my editor after reading the first five chapters, I'm sold.  So "Awakening" will be next.

Great news!!!

"The Sagittary" has been converted into ebook format for ebook readers!  The book will be available shortly on Amazon.com for Kindle, Amazon's ebook electronic reader.  Keep an eye out for it!  Well, don't take your eye out, but do keep a watch....

        

I think I've finally gotten the hang of this website stuff.  Took me a bit but it's looking more like what I want it to look like.  Changed the banner, tweaked a few things here and there.  It should work...for now.

I did the banner with the DAZ-3D program, which is awesome if you like computer artistry.  You can download the program for free from their website:

Since getting the program, I've become a DAZ-3D ho.  I've downloaded a ton of the additional add-ons and programs that run on this most versatile program.  It's VERY addictive and I love it.  Now if I can only figure out how to use the Carrara 7 program that I've also purchased....Hmmm....

Hey everyone!  Thanks for stopping by my new site.  Yet another blog to keep up with.  I have another blog at Blogspot that I've had for a while. I'll try and keep up with it here as well.  *laughs*

Let's see...I'm working with my editor, Kim Brooks, on getting the second manuscript in shape for Daughter of the Aire.  It's coming along well and with any luck, will be out sometime this summer.  We'll have to see how it goes.  "The Sagittary" was supposed to come out last summer but we ran into snags and it finally surfaced in October.

I'm currently finishing off reading the last installment of Lara Adrian's Breed series, "The Veil of Midnight."  This series is awesome, and if you haven't had the pleasure to indulge yourself yet, please do.  It is time well spent.
